Cliff Climbers are specialized climbing devices that are used by the ThunderCats. Made of metal and shaped like a cat’s paw, the Cliff Climbers have curved claws at the front which allow them to get a firm grip on any climbing surface. At the back they have a looped leather strip which is to be worn around the wrist of the climber.
Panthro uses the Cliff Climbers to scale the treacherous peaks of the Mountains of the Moon in order to present the Gem Light to the top of the signal tower. This was one of the tasks assigned to the ThunderCats by the Guardian of the Book of Omens in order to prevent the self-destruction of New Thundera.
