Corey Burton is an American voice actor. He provided the voice of Jaga in the rebooted ThunderCats animated series and also voiced some secondary characters on the show.
Starting his career at the age of 17 by doing voice imitations of Hans Conried, Burton quickly moved up in the world of voice acting. A legend in the voice acting biz, Burton has done voice work for countless popular animated series.
He voiced many of the characters in the 1980s "Transformers" cartoon series including Shockwave, Sunstreaker, Brawn and Spike Witwicky. He also did voice work for the 2007 "Transformers Animated" cartoon series for the characters of Megatron, Ratchet, Ironhide, Brawn, Cyrus "The Colossus" Rhodes, Spike Witwicky and Longarm Prime/Shockwave.
Burton has lent his voice to characters in the "Star Wars" animated shows as well. He voiced Count Dooku in "Star Wars: Clone Wars", "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and several Star Wars video games.
However, Burton's most prolific work has been for Disney. He has done voice work in the Disney animated series, feature animations, video games as well as many attractions at the Disneyland Resort and Theme parks. Some of the Disney characters that he has voiced are Ludwig Von Drake, Chip, Zeus, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee as well as serving as narrator in many episodes and movies.
