Darkbird is an evil clone of Quicksilver who was created by Hardware. Under Mon*Star's orders, Hardware used his intelligence and equipment to give birth to Darkbird.
Being a clone of Quicksilver, Darkbird is almost identical in appearance to him. His metallic armor is a light silver in color and has laser shooters fitted in the shoulders. The armor also has multiple jets and extendable metallic wings for space flight. The armor is fitted with retractable metal talons located at the back of the heels which can be used for attacking.
There are some differences between the two. Darkbird has thicker eyebrows, dark circles around his eyes and almost fang like teeth. Also the laser that he shoots is red whereas that shot from Quicksilver's shoulder shooters is blue.
Mon*Star planned to use Darkbird to enter Dollare and capture Lord Cash. He then would send his Mob to steal all the money from Dollare. But his plans were foiled by the SilverHawks and the real Quicksilver. Darkbird was arrested and taken to Penal Planet 10
Trivia[]
- Just like Quicksilver, Darkbird was also voiced by Peter Newman. The "evil voice" that Newman used for Darkbird often made him sound like the villain Demolisher from the 1980s ThunderCats cartoon of the same name.
