Written by David Michelinie
Art by Jim Mooney, Kim DeMulder, Janice Chiang and Nelson Yomtov
The power of Sight beyond Sight shows Lion-O that Castle Plun-Darr has not been destroyed, rather it was an illusion which the Sword dispels. The Mutants charge out to do battle and Mumm-Ra appears, as gigantic as ever and claiming to be three times as powerful, thanks to Jaga's powers which he has stolen. After a show of Mumm-ra's new powers, Lion-O persuades Slithe to join forces with the ThunderCats to defeat Mumm-ra. After some reluctance, Slithe agrees and everyone, including Lynxana, heads out to attack Mumm-ra's Pyramid and battle commences.
