Mutant Fistpounder was one of the first ThunderCats vehicles produced in the second series of ThunderCats toys by LJN Toys. The vehicle was based on the original 1980s cartoon version of Fistpounder. The Mutant Fistpounder had action features and could seat three ThunderCats figure.

FeaturesEdit

Battle-Matic Action: The main action feature of this vehicle was its Giant Mechanical Fists which pounded the ground when the vehicle was driven on a surface. The pounding action of the arms alternated between the two arms.

This massive Mutant vehicle had the capacity to hold up to three figures (not included). It's Fist Pounding action did not require any batteries to function.

AccessoriesEdit

1.Two Mechanical Fists: The Mutant Fistpounder came with two plastic green mechanical fists which would be fitted onto the left and right side of the vehicle.

2.Instruction Sheet: The Mutant Fistpounder also came with an Instruction Sheet which had all the necessary assembly directions along with illustrations.

3.Control Unit: The Mutant Fistpounder came with a plastic control untiL which would be fitted onto the front of the vehicle.

4.Seatbelt: The Mutant Fistpounder came with a red plastic seatbelt which would be fitted onto the middle of the vehicle.

5.Removable Chair: The Mutant Fistpounder came with a red plastic chair which would be fitted onto the rear of the vehicle.

6.Ladder: The Mutant Fistpounder came with a green plastic ladder which would be fitted onto the rear of the vehicle.

7.Sticker Sheet: The Mutant Fistpounder also came with a Sticker Sheet which had all the necessary stickers to be applied to the assembled vehicle.

Accessories

ReleasesEdit

1. Series 2: The second series Mutant Fistpounder was released in 1986. The vehicle came packaged in a box due to its size.

2. Series 3: The third series Mutant Fistpounder was released in 1987. The vehicle came packaged in the same box as the Series 2 Mutant Fistpounder and was merely a re-release.
