Lady of the Lake is a mysterious character on Third Earth. Only her hands a ever shown. She is synonymous with the legend of King Arthur and his sword Excalibur.

After Arthur had vanquished his enemies, he instructed one of his knights to throw the sword Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake for safe-keeping. It remained in her care for many centuries until Mumm-Ra took on the guise of King Arthur and retrieved it in order to destroy the ThunderCats. He almost succeeded in his plans but was thwarted by Merlin. Excalibur was then returned back to the Lady of the Lake.
