Jackalman was the third ThunderCats action figure produced by Mattel Toys as part of their "Classics" line. The figure was based on the original 1980s cartoon version of the Jackalman. The figures stood 6 inches tall and had multiple points of articulation as well as having a number of accessories.

The Jackalman figure went on sale in October of 2016 on the "Mattycollector" website.

ThunderCats Bullet Point FeaturesEdit

1. Poseable limbs, head and torso: The figure has 13 points of articulation (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hip, knees, ankles). The articulation allows the figure to be posed in a number of action stances.

ThunderCats Bullet Point AccessoriesEdit

1. Interchangeable hands: The figure came with a pair of extra hands that could be swapped. Some of the hands had closed grips to allow the included weapons and accessories to fit into them.

2. Club: The figure came with a Club that was made of brown plastic. The Club was similar in design to the Club that was included with the LJN Jackalman.

3. Battle Axe: The figure came with a Battle Axe that had a brown handle and a greyish silver blade. The Battle Axe was similar to the one that Jackalman was shown using in a few episodes such as "Jackalman's Rebellion" and "The Shifter".

The description on the "Mattycollector" website states that the Battle Axe belongs to Slithe.

ThunderCats Bullet Point PackagingEdit

Jackalman came packaged in a window box with a clear plastic front. The window box itself comes packaged inside an black shipper box with the Eye of Thundera logo printed on it in grey.

ThunderCats Bullet Point Notes of InterestEdit

  • The description/official blurb at the back of the box states that Jackalman's real name is Kaynar. This is incorrect as "Kaynar" is the name of Jackalman in the 2011 ThunderCats Cartoon series. In the 1980s Cartoon series, Jackalman's name has always been Jackalman.
