Panthro was the sixth ThunderCats action figure produced by Mattel Toys as part of their "Classics" line. The figure was based on the original 1980s cartoon version of the Panthro. The figure stood 6 inches tall and had multiple points of articulation as well as having a number of accessories.
The Panthro figure went on sale in December of 2016 on the "Mattycollector" website.
Features[]
1. Poseable limbs, head and torso: The figure has 13 points of articulation (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hip, knees, ankles). The articulation allows the figure to be posed in a number of action stances.
Accessories[]
1. Interchangeable hand: The figure came with one extra left hand that could be swapped.
2. Normal Nunchucks: The figure came with a normal version of Nunchucks that consisted of the blue and red plastic claw sticks attached by a length of chain.
3. Spinning Nunchucks: The figure also came with a spinning version of Nunchucks that consisted of a red plastic claw stick that could be attached to a blue spinning disc which mimicked the blue claw stick in spinning motion.
4. Key of Thundera: The figure came the Key of Thundera, on of the items in included in the Treasure of Thundera. The golden colored key had a strap as well as the ThunderCats insignia in its center.
5. Thundrillium Detector (Thundrometer): The figure also came with a Thundrillium Detecter, a device which was used by the ThunderCats in the cartoon series to locate Thundrillium.
Packaging[]
Panthro came packaged in a window box with a clear plastic front. The window box itself comes packaged inside an black shipper box with the Eye of Thundera logo printed on it in grey.
