Astral Moat Monster was one of the first ThunderCats action figures produced by Playful Toys. The figure was based on the original 1980s cartoon version of Astral Moat Monster. Standing a solid 7 inches tall, the Astral Moat Monster figure had poseable arms, legs and wings, thanks to 6 points of articulation.

Instead of being packaged on a card like most of the LJN figures, the bigger size of the Moat Monster necessitated it to be packaged in a box

ThunderCats Bullet Point FeaturesEdit

1. Poseable limbs and head: The Astral Moat Monster figure had 6 points of articulation, 2 at the shoulders, 2 at the hips and 2 at the back. These points allowed the figure to be posed in a variety of action poses.

ThunderCats Bullet Point AccessoriesEdit

Two Wings: The Astral Moat Monster came with two wings that could be attached and detached onto the figure. These wings were made of red plastic and would be attached to the holes on the figure's back.

ThunderCats Bullet Point Playful vs LJNEdit

Even though the Playful figure used the same basic design of the LJN figure, there were some differences between the two:

1. Claw Color: The Plafyul Figure had white painted claws while the LJN figure did not have any paint on its claws, leaving them blue like the rest of the figure.
