Ram Bam was one of the first ThunderCats action figures produced by Playful Toys. The figure was based on the original 1980s cartoon version of Ram Bam. Standing a solid 5 inches tall, the Ram Bam figure had action features as well as poseable arms, legs and head, thanks to 5 points of articulation.

ThunderCats Bullet Point FeaturesEdit

1. Battle-Matic Action: Just like the LJN Ram Bam, the Playful Top Spinner's action feature was controlled by a lever located on the figure's back. Pressing this lever would make the figure spin rapidly, knocking down any figures nearby with his spiked mace.

2. Poseable limbs and head: The Ram Bam figure had 5 points of articulation, 2 at the shoulders, 2 at the hips, and 1 at the neck. These points allowed the figure to be posed in a variety of action poses.

ThunderCats Bullet Point Playful vs LJNEdit

Even though the Playful figure used the same basic design of the LJN figure, there were some differences between the two:

1. Helmet Horn Color: The two horns on the side of the LJN Ram-Bam were painted purple while those on the Playful figure were painted in metallic silver color.

2. Helmet Band Color: The thin strip of purple color at the bottom of the Playful Ram-Bam's helmet was of a darker shade than that painted on the LJn figure's helmet.

3. Shoulder Pad Color: While the LJN Ram-Bam sported purple colored shoulder pads, those found on the Playful figure were painted black in color.
