Lion-O, Cheetara, and Lynxana use the Thundertank to drill a tunnel into the Black Pyramid. Once inside, they find three identical caskets, each containing Mumm-Ra, and also the imprisoned Jaga. As they are attacked by Mumm-Ra’s Stone Sentinels, Jaga tells Lion-O to destroy the crystal which imprisons him. Once done, the ThunderCats flee as Mumm-Ra loses his power. With the battle outside over, the Mutants leave to repair Castle Plundarr against Mumm-Ra’s vengeance. Back at Cats’ Lair, Lynxana declines an invitation to become a ThunderCat and leaves.
