ThunderCats Ho! - Part II is an episode from the original series of ThunderCats. Written by Leonard Starr, it originally aired on September 10, 1986.
Summary[]
While the three Thunderian refugees are taken to Fire Rock Mountain under Mumm-Ra's orders, Snarf gets kidnapped by Ratar-O, and Lion-O gets ambushed on Hook Mountain by the Mutants.
Story[]
Lion-O struggles to stay afloat in the ocean while the Berserkers continue to bombard the water with fireballs, heating it to boiling point. Snarf who is pacing restlessly on the shore is unable to help Lion-O due to the scalding hot water of the ocean. Suddenly Panthro arrives in the brand new ThunderClaw and drives away the Berserkers. He then proceeds to rescue Lion-O from drowning.
The Berserkers deliver the three Thunderians to the Mutants who take them to Mumm-Ra. The evil mummy then hands the three prisoners to Captain Shiner and orders him to transport them to Fire Rock Mountain. The three Thunderians try twice to escape, first from the Mutants and then from Captain Shiner, but are thwarted both times. They eventually succumb to the weakening effects of the Thundrainium of Fire Rock Mountain.
Meanwhile, Snarf, en route to Cats Lair, is captured by Ratar-O and Vultureman in the RatStar. Lion-O tries to rescue his nursemaid by jumping onto the RatStar but Ratar-O drops him on Hook Mountain. Fortunately, Snowman and Snowmeow are close at hand and rescue Lion-O from the snow. Lion-O had barely regained consciousness when the Mutants attack him, with Monkian driving their newest vehicle – the Fistpounder.

Trivia[]
- Usually Slithe always prefers to drive the NoseDiver while Jackalman pilots the SkyCutter, but in this episode they have switched vehicles.
- This episode marks the debut of the Mutants' vehicle the Fistpounder.
- Since Captain Shiner’s spaceship, the Vertus was completely destroyed in the earlier episode “Sword in a Hole”, it seems likely that the Vertus featured in this episode is a new one.
- WilyKit and WilyKat display real maturity when, instead of complaining like usual, they agree happily to remain at Cats Lair in order to help the team.
