ThunderCats Bullet Point Story[]

Dr Dometone, part 1 of 4:[]

Written by Tom DeFalco
Art by Dwayne Turner, Dave Simons, Janice Chiang and Petra Scotese

The adventure begins with the Thunderkittens enjoying a beautiful day by swimming at the beach near the Forest of Unicorns. As Wilykat watches helplessly from the shore, Wilykit is swallowed whole by a gigantic froglike creature. She soon realises that she is inside a machine as she plunges through a metal drain and is confronted by a man calling himself Dr. Dometone, claiming that he is searching for the ThunderCats.

They return to Cats’ Lair and the newcomer explains that he is from the Great Plug of Atlantis. It was build centuries earlier to block a fissure in the seabed which would have drained the oceans and put out Third Earth’s fire, turning it into an icy world. They are now under attack from a man named Scrape who has been sent from his homeworld of Blue Plunder to drain the ocean and harvest a common rock which his people use as fuel. He already destroyed one of the two guardian robots. While he cannot penetrate the plug, Dr. Dometone needs to return in the second robot, Hercy, with supplies for the crew. The ThunderCats pledge their help and prepare to set out...

Berbil Trouble:[]

Written by Steve Alan

Following the storm, Ro-Bear Bert is suffering from a fever with Pumyra trying her best to care for the Berbil inside their spaceship. Outside, Ro-Bear Bob tells Bengali and Lynx-O that they must restrain his compatriot as the rust fever will make him return to the Berbils’ ancestral barbarian state. They act too late as Bert transforms into an enormous beast and attacks Pumyra before ripping through the hull and escaping. The Thunderians build a trap in the woods but despite Pumyra wearing him down with her agility, Bert is too powerful to catch. Then Lynx-O uses ultrasonic waves to calm the Berbil and he returns to his normal docile state.
